I am a Curator and Writer based in the UK, but originally from Sweden.

Since 2023 I am the Conran Foundation Chief Curator at the Design Museum in London where I am part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for the Curatorial and Collection departments. I am also responsible for the development phase of the museum’s new collection gallery, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Previously I was the Curator of 20th-century and contemporary product and furniture design at the Victoria & Albert Museum, where I helped found the museum’s new initiative Make Good: Rethinking Material Futures and co-curated the Design 1900-Now Gallery.

In 2011 I founded the design journal Disegno, for which I’m still the Director.

I received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Arts London, my Alma Mater, in 2025.
