I’m part of a panel debate on “communities, design, politics” with Liza Fior, Jeremy Till, Indy Johar, Tony Fretton and Francisco Sanin at the London Met. It’s part of the Academy series organised by the Gwangju Biennale Foundation and its curator Beatrice Galilée, who is also chairing the event.
In June I’m heading to Sofia for its third design week. I’m giving a talk about design and the everyday. Other speakers include Konstantin Grcic and Matali Crasset.

I chaired the Pecha Kucha at Modus during the London Design Festival and delivered a short presentation on vibrators.
Part of a panel consisting of fashion historians Caroline Evans and Alistair O’Neill, I talked about my detective work on Martin Margiela. It coincided with the Margiela 20 exhibition at Somerset House.
I chaired a talk on the relationship between designers and patrons in the Flos and Moroso showroom with Tord Boontje, Patrizia Moroso, Piero Gandini and Paul Cocksedge as part of the Clerkenwell Design Festival.
