Lead Curator
Design Stories at the Röhsska Museum of Design and Craft in Gothenburg opened in November 2024. It is a permanent collection gallery that I helped curate together with the Röhsska team. This exhibition, spanning a period of 150 years, considers the many design stories told by the objects in the Röhsska Museum collection. Through six different themes the exhibition unpicks what design is, how it can be practiced, who it benefits, who it leaves out, what problems it gives rise to and what opportunities it enables. As such, it shows that design can be understood as an agent for change and force of creativity, but also as a tool employed to control and influence. In conjunction with Design Stories Röhsska opened Super Ö, a platform where external collaborators are given space for discussion, display and workshops around the themes and objects in the exhibition.
